About us
United Asia School of Management (UASM) was established in December 2007. United Asia School of Management is registered with The Council for Private Education , Singapore. UASM's UEN Registration Number is 200619037Z. We are located at 210 Middle Road #08-01, Singapore 188994.
The core functions of UASM include the development and delivery of academic curriculum for local and foreign students. The Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management (DHTM) was created in August 2007. The Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management was created in September 2007. Both courses are administered and awarded by United Asia School of Management (UASM). UASM had a valid CASETRUST accreditation for Private Education Organizations on 19 March 2008 for Good Business Practices till its expiry in June 30, 2010. CaseTrust was discontinued therafter by The Council for Private Education.
Our first class of 25 local and foreign students started their courses on 2007. Student applications have risen to over 500 and are still growing. In October 2009, UASM became a Edexcel Centre offering BTEC Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) together with the UASM Diplomas. In January 2010, UASM, HND programmes were articulated by Teesside University offering progression pathways to undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications. We offer Level 5 HNDs in Business, Computing and Travel and Tourism Management as well as the Level 7 Professional Diploma in Management. All Edexcel programmes are recognised by over 100 UK, US and Australian Universities.
In May 2011, UASM took another step forward in our development by becoming an approved franchise partner of Edge Hill University, UK. All HNDs offered at UASM has been articulated by Edge Hill University and we have been approved to run their selected Undergraduate and Postgraduate qualifications at UASM in Singapore.
UASM will continually work with our academic partners to ensure that our programme offerings are relevant to the current and future workplace. At UASM, we continue to evolve so that we inspire our staff, faculty and students to continually learn and develop to be the best they can be.
